This introductory module is an introduction to the knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and defense mechanisms. Students learn about the significance of cybersecurity in the contemporary online world, and know the typical types of cyber threats, as well as learn about the security concepts and principles, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The workshop will incorporate practical activities on password management, phishing, safe surfing and simple system protection. The aim is to develop a high level of security awareness and equip the learners with preparatory cybersecurity courses.
